~ The Alice'Mirror ~ |
|
When Alice surfaces from her nightmare, her head is upset.
She thinks she needs to relax, to empty her mind. To forget all that.
She decides to play squash in the basement.
She quickly dresses (too quickly !) and grabs her sport bag.
The ball bounces against the walls and Alice jumps, runs.
Some hisses, some ironic cries stop her and make her turn around.
Mens, probably some neighbours, are here, applauding behind the panes of glass.
Alice, red as a beetroot, realizes that she forgot her pants.
Today it was hot. Alice comes back home worn out by the work but also by the recollection of the last nightmare. She thinks that she has to get rid of this f... mirror but she thinks, surprised, that, for the first time she has memories.
Perhaps I am better ? she says herself, removing her suit, her high heels and letting herself on the sofa.
She pours herself a glass of whisky (the one that D. prefers) and it does her a world of good. She removes her underwear, puts it in the washing machine and climbs up the stairs. She feels like a long warm shower.
